No, trials of the Creator plan of Altered Studio are free and do not require any credit card details. The trial is valid for a week, and includes everything you need to record, change your voice, text-to-speech, transcription, edit and mix audio content. After the trial you can upgrade to the paid plan that best suits your needs.

Altered's plan subscriptions are processed automatically to the provided credit card, according to the billing cycle you selected (monthly, quarterly, yearly). We use Stripe and Chargebee to manage payments and subscriptions and we do not have access to your payment card details.

Voice AI services, like Text-To-Speech, Translation, Speech-To-Text and Cleaning consume tokens on a per character or per second basis. Every plan comes with a pool of tokens which are consumed when you use Voice AI services.

Tokens are calculated per character or per second, depending on the feature used. Different services and providers have a different token consumption ratio. A table with the cost per service and provider is available on the pricing page.

Altered Studio consumes quota for Speech-To-Speech Voice Generation based on input length. This means that you will only consume quota for seconds of each input audio, no matter how many output voices or voice settings you try. So you can feel free to experiment with different voices and voice settings without using your quota up.
